Jane Goodall's Global Youth Summit - 2008 was a huge success. For one week, outstanding young people from around the world participated in intense discussions, created action plans for their communities, and visited Disney World. The summit included participation by Dr. Jane Goodall herself, youth-led panels, roundtable discussions, workshops, keynote speakers and other activities. Participants examined the relationships between the environment, water issues, poverty and wildlife conservation.
Attendees have all returned home and are working on their action plans. There is no doubt that these amazing, compassionate leaders will have successful stories to tell.
